HowGood is an independent research company with the world’s largest database on product sustainability. With more than 33,000 ingredients, chemicals, and materials assessed, HowGood’s SaaS and impact data offerings help leading brands, retailers, and investors improve their environmental and social impact.
We are seeking an experienced EU Sales Director to lead the growth of Latis, our sustainability intelligence platform, across Europe. You will own the European go-to-market strategy and new business pipeline, winning and expanding enterprise relationships with some of the region’s most influential food and consumer goods companies.
What You'll Do...
- Own the European Sales Strategy: Define and execute the go-to-market plan for Europe, including target accounts, segment prioritization, and territory planning across the CPG, retail, ingredient supplier, and food service sectors.
- Build and Manage Pipeline: Research, prospect, and generate high-quality enterprise opportunities, maintaining accurate pipeline data and forecasts in our CRM.
- Lead the Full Sales Cycle: Run executive-level presentations and consultative discussions that demonstrate how Latis delivers value through sales lift, carbon emission reduction, and progress toward ESG goals, and close $100k+ SaaS agreements against an annual quota.
- Partner Cross-Functionally: Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Research to shape European messaging, ensure smooth handoffs to onboarding, and identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
- Bring the Voice of the Market: Track European market trends and regulatory developments (such as CSRD and related reporting requirements) and relay client feedback to inform HowGood’s product roadmap.
- Represent HowGood in Europe: Serve as a visible ambassador for HowGood at industry events, conferences, and client meetings across the region.
What We're Looking For...
- SaaS Sales Leadership: At least [7+] years in B2B SaaS sales, with a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quota and closing $100k+ enterprise deals.
- Industry Networks: Recent experience selling to CPG, retail, ingredient supplier, or food service clients in Europe.
- Domain Knowledge: A strong understanding of (or professional background in) agriculture, sustainability, Scope 3 reporting/carbon accounting, supply systems, biodiversity, or ESG goals.
- Strategic and Analytical Skills: Experience building territory plans, forecasting accurately, and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise procurement processes.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English; additional European languages (e.g. [German, French, Dutch]) are a strong plus.
- Collaborative Mindset: Comfort working in a lean, mission-driven, remote team across time zones.
Nice to Have...
- An established thought-leadership or public-speaking presence in agriculture, sustainability, or supply chain innovation.
- Experience as an early or first sales hire in a new region.
