Astanor is a venture capital fund specialized in agrifood tech impact investing. About the position

Start Date: Right away

Location: Based in or willing to relocate to our HQ in Brussels, Belgium (at least first year)

What You’ll Do

· Conduct in-depth research on emerging technologies, markets, and innovative business models

· Identify and evaluate promising startups, including reviewing pitch decks and performing early-stage due diligence

· Support portfolio companies through tailored research and strategic internal initiatives

· Represent Astanor at industry events, conferences, and ecosystem gatherings

· Contribute to marketing efforts by creating compelling content such as newsletters, founder profiles, and thought leadership pieces

Your Education & Experience

· Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, Business, Economics, or a related discipline

· Internship or short-term experience in one or more of the following areas: startups, venture capital, private equity, consulting, or financial services

· 0–2 years of full-time professional experience

Your Skills & Attributes

· Proficient in reviewing business plans and financial models, including basic exit modelling

· Analytical and structured thinker with strong problem-solving skills

· Proactive self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and execution

· Deep curiosity and passion for startups, venture capital, and emerging technologies in agriculture and food—you stay up to date even in your spare time.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language is a plus.
