About the position:

  • Contract Type: Full-time, 9-month contract
  • Location: Brussels
  • Start Date: November 2024 at the latest

Responsibilities: You will work closely with the Impact team and will be instrumental in deploying two key projects on both ESG and impact topics.

  • Portfolio Company Support: Assess, monitor, and support mission-driven portfolio companies in their sustainable journey.
  • Impact & ESG Data Management: Collect and maintain ESG and impact data to be shared with LPs and international organizations.
  • Impact Measurement: Support the deployment of the Impact Valuation model for all Astanor portfolio companies.
  • Ad hoc Support: Provide additional support to the investment and communications team as needed.

About you:

  • Completed a degree in Engineering, Business, or similar (final year of studies acceptable) with knowledge of Life-Cycle Assessment.
  • Proficient in the full Microsoft tools suite, particularly Excel and applicable modeling skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for agrifood, sustainability, impact investing, and venture capital.
  • Understanding of basic principles of ESG, CSR, and/or impact investing.
  • Self-starter, good time management, creative, and professional communication skills.
  • Legal right to work in the EU.
